Carttera Sells 350 Hazelhurst Road in Mississauga

December 2014

Carttera is pleased to announce the sale of 350 Hazelhurst Road in Mississauga. Shortly after Carttera acquired the site in the Fall of 2014, a new 220,000 sf single tenant lease deal was completed with the Ford Motor Company. Prior to closing, the building underwent approximately $3.7 million of upgrades.

Carttera's UIF3 has completed the purchase of 8875 Torbram Road in Brampton, Ontario. Demolition of the existing building has begun, and a new speculative, LEED Gold, 900,000 sf distribution centre will be ready for occupancy in December 2014.

Oakwoods Centre’s 7-Arce Parcel Rezoned to Retail C3A

Carttera’s UIF 2 Oakwoods development, located in Oakville, Ontario, has successfully rezoned approximately 7 acres of the property at the corner of Joshua’s Creek Drive and Upper Middle Road from E1 (employment) to C3A (commercial).  This rezoning allows for a variety of retail sales and supportive commercial uses including banks, restaurants and retail stores.
